Named serendib more than a millenia and a half ago, Sri Lanka is a beautiful and varied land. In our journey to this tiny island nation, we’ll stroll through peaceful spice gardens and tea plantations, visit ancient temples, and sample some of the most fiery and alive street food north of the equator. We’ll also explore some of the country’s conservation efforts, getting up close and personal with baby orphan elephants and visiting a local turtle conservatory.
